VEIDEC Festival - European Dragracing Championships

VEIDEC Festival is the largest round in the European Dragracing Championships. The event has been arranged 35 years in a row at Mantorp Park and attracts more than 50.000 international spectators during the weekend.

Some of the competing classes (cars) are Top Fuel, Funny Car, Top Methanol Dragster, Pro Stock and Pro Modified - as well as the motorbike classes; Super Twin, Top Fuel Bike and Pro Stock Bike.

The most extreme are the Top Fuel dragsters that runs on highoctane nitromethane, develops over 7.000 hps, accelerates from 0-160 km/h in 1 second and reaches some 500 km/h in top-spead after 402 meters. You have to experience the feeling and hear the sound live, in order to believe it!
